Ryosuke Takeuchi
Ryosuke Takeuchi (タケウチリョースケ) is a Japanese illustrator whose work brings together street fashion and culture with the aesthetics of anime and manga. Takeuchi first became widely known on social media for pop-style fan art that transposes the characters of popular series such as Demon Slayer, Chainsaw Man and Attack on Titan into present-day urban settings, imagining them in real places such as Shibuya or Yokohama.
Takeuchi's original works share the same bright palette and densely detailed backgrounds, and the artist has produced commissioned illustrations for clients ranging from football clubs and VTubers to games. In 2022 Takeuchi's original character Zombie Inu (ゾンビイヌ) was made into a plush toy through a crowdfunding project run with Village Vanguard, and Takeuchi drew the key visual for the collaboration between the mobile game Monster Strike and the Osaka and Tokyo Motorcycle Shows 2026.
Takeuchi's first solo exhibition of original works was held in 2025 at 9DAYS GALLERY in Shibuya Modi, Tokyo, and was accompanied by an exhibition catalogue. Ryosuke Takeuchi's work is presented in Europe by Tokiol.
