Copic markers and colored pencils on Kent paper
B4 (original); framed 30 x 40 cm
Unique, with certificate of sale
A maiko in profile, her turquoise kimono scattered with pink blossoms, a deep purple umbrella resting against her shoulder. The grey ground behind her holds only the pale silhouettes of blossoms, so all of the colour is gathered in the figure and in the clean, unwavering line that draws her.
